Arlene Stapleton
Biographical Info Arlene Stapleton is a singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music healer. Learning singing, guitar and piano as a girl, she started writing songs when she was 8 years old. She grew up hearing her dad play classical pieces such as " Ravel's Bolero"' on the harmonica, always having music in the house. Later,as a teenager, Having been performing in Melbourne in band supports, including Russell Morris and Renee Geyer, Arlene also had many solo performances as a singer/songwriter. She also worked in numerous duos and bands performing in Victoria, alongside having a family,and owning an art gallery of her and her partners wildlife art. In 2005, Arlene added the majestic Folk Harp to her singing and songwriting tools. Her country/folk songs are mainly written on the harp, as an ancient stringed instrument, it expresses beautifully in these music genres. Her distinctive style, and unique voice has captivated audiences. Playing the harp also led her to also study music healing She was asked to record an album for patients at "end of life" by an instructor at the Peter McCallum Cancer Institute, following her music healing work with her harp and voice. Arlene continued her singer songwriter performances in Tamworth and was invited to record her single "Star Gazer" on the "LBS Country Collection Volume 24" in August, 2019. Arlene's country music album has been eagerly awaited . Her solo album was recorded at LBS Music studio, and will debut in early 2020.
