Biographical Info Georgie Taylor is a 16 year old singer-songwriter multi-instrumentalist from Thornlands who enjoys writing original music, playing guitar, ukulele and piano. A true story-teller, she develops beautifully crafted original songs looking at the world as she sees it through a young person’s eyes. Georgie is recognised by industry peers as an emerging artist, gifted and talented in all areas of the Arts, particularly song writing where she has received a number of awards in recent years. She is a recent graduate from the ‘one of a kind’ CMAA (Country Music Association of Australia) Junior Academy of Country Music, is RedArts Young and Emerging Artist 2017 and was was a nominee for the prestigious Redland City Council Australia Day Awards 2017 for significant achievement by an individual who produces and promotes outstanding work in Redlands. Georgie is also a member of the Redlands Modern Country Music Club and winner of their Junior Songwriting Contest in 2017 with her original song 'Soul Sister' written whilst at TCMF 2017. Career highlights include performing at Tamworth Country Music Festival 2017 in the Fretfest Regional Song Contest Winners Showcases, graduating from the the CMAA Junior Academy of Country Music in July this year and performing in the Graduation Concert and as graduates of 2017 opening for the Amber Lawrence and Catherine Britt – Love & Lies Tour - Wests Tamworth. A recent win at the Redland Sporting Club Vocal Contest Intermediate Section gave her an opportunity to open up for Justice Crew at Redfest Community Concert.
