Biographical Info Heath grew up in the Central West of N.S.W. beginning his career in the sixties with R&B and Pop before going solo and specialising in 12 string guitar as his instrument of choice*** Heath delved into constructing his own acoustic guitars and musically was Influenced by artists such as Kevin Johnson, Buddy Holly, Jim Croce, Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Gordon Lightfoot, Mike McLellan, Ralph McTell and Ross Ryan*** He began composing in 1980, but did not do any commercial recordings*** After entering in Tamworth Starmaker 1983 and finalising as the last solo artist in the top five, he was invited by the NSW Government to compose a song to coincide with the gifting of three Koalas to the Tokyo Metro Government, Japan. It was recorded and released nationally. Over an extended stay there of almost 18 years he represented Australia in a succession of Australian festivals, including five months performing solo for Australia at Tsukuba Expo***He also became the Australian resident performer at the exclusive Tokyo American Club***Returning to Australia, he retired from music for several years due to his family health matters. He re-entered the music scene in 2010, winning several awards for his compositions and then released a solo heritage single "Back To Lansdowne"*** In early 2013 he became an active radio presenter on Community Radio creating his "Around The Delta" programme on 104.7 FM*** In 2015 entered his composition "Looking Through The Eyes of a Child" into the ASA Awards in Sydney achieving top 30 in 4 categories, in 2016 top 30 in five categories and top 30 in 2018. He now resides on the mid north coast of N.S.W. and is currently preparing to launch his web site in 2019 to release singles, a follow up EP and an Album later in 2019.
