Biographical Info Lucy Parle is a young singer songwriter who loves country pop music. At just 15 years of age, Lucy has the performing experience of those much older than her. A regular at markets, cafes and charity gigs across the Central Coast of NSW, Lucy always draws the crowds with her exceptional vocal ability. Lucy started formal vocal lessons when she was just 8 years old and plays the guitar and piano and is learning to play the banjo and mandolin. Lucy’s mentors include talented local artists like Nate Butler, Sarah Humphreys, Sammi Constantine and Tori Forsyth. Humphrey’s has described Lucy as “humble and sweet with a simply gorgeous voice and perfect pitch”. Humphrey’s describes the first time she heard Lucy sing one of her original songs, “it made me smile and gave me such hope. Lucy is a genuine, lovely young woman with a gift for songwriting”. Lucy released her debut EP ‘Always’ in 2017 which is available at all major online stores and at her gigs. Lucy takes inspiration from esteemed singer songwriters like Taylor Swift and Kasey Chambers. The title song from Lucy's debut EP 'Always' won the Youth Category at the Australian Songwriters Association awards in 2017 and the second single from the EP 'Dancing With The Wrong Girl' won the Youth category in the Songs Alive Song Comp in 2017 and was also in the top 5 in the Tamworth Songwriters Association Awards at the TCMF in 2018. Lucy one day dreams of becoming a successful country music recording artist.
