Biographical Info Newcastle born, Sydney raised and Tamworth based Singer/Songwriter Wendy Wood :- was inspired to write her first song after her daughter Cassie was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis in 1991. At the time, Wendy was the wife of an interstate truck driver, based in Stokers Siding NSW, near Murwillumbah with 3 year old Son Jarred and her new baby girl. Writing songs became Wendy's solace, an outlet to cope with the situation she found herself in, and an avenue for her to explore her hopes and dreams for the future. "I'd always listened to country music on the radio - it had always been a part of my life, so music was what I turned to when I needed it after Cass was diagnosed.
